'51 Tele voiced hand wound pickup set

Classic vintage Tele twang, sparkle and lustre with a notably smooth, warm and pronounced midrange. The overall tone has a focused low end with a lively, biting top note.

At Shed Pickups we are wholly committed to producing the most exceptional handcrafted and hand wound pickups available anywhere. Through our distinctive and exacting methods, each of our HA (Historically Accurate) Series of Pickups are aged to perfection, giving a distinct character and soul with unequalled tonality 

Pickup wind directions and polarities:

  • Poles are South up. Wind direction all CCW

Bridge: 

  • Aged appearance
  • Hand wound with period correct 43 AWG Plain enamel coated wire
  • Bobbins are made with Forbon and flat-poled Alnico 3 magnets
  • Copper plated baseplate, slotted screws and amber spring tubing with OEM hookup cable.
  • Coils are string wrapped and potted with white wax.
  • Medium vintage output


Neck:

  • Aged appearance
  • Wound with period correct 43 AWG Plain enamel coated wire
  • Bobbins are made with Forbon and flat-poled Alnico 5 magnets
  • Chrome cover
  • slotted screws and amber spring tubing with OEM hookup cable.
  • Potted with black wax.
  • Medium vintage output
